Electronic properties of pristine and modified single-walled carbon nanotubes

  • 1. Department of Chemistry, M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow (Russian Federation)

Description

The current status of research on the electronic properties of filled single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) is reviewed. SWCNT atomic structure and electronic properties are described, and their correlation is discussed. Methods for modifying the electronic properties of SWCNTs are considered. SWCNT filling materials are systematized. Experimental and theoretical data on the electronic properties of filled SWCNTs are analyzed. Possible application areas for filled SWCNTs are explored.
