Description

This paper studies the problem of classifying the anomalies which can occur in supergravity theories. Using algebraic methods the author comes to the conjecture that the structure of the possible anomalous vertices of a given supergravity model is fully determined from the sole knowledge of the boson gauge field sector. The author states that to verify that a given supergravity is anomaly free, it is sufficient to verify the cancellations of the possibly anomalous diagrams with external boson gauge fields
