The photovoltaic context and stakes for its development on public building roofs in the Morbihan district
Description
This publication proposes an overview of the situation of solar photovoltaic sector in France and in the Morbihan district. It recalls the cell operation principle, the different types of photovoltaic modules with their associated industrial sectors and efficiency levels. It indicates the four main types of solar photovoltaic installations (plants, large roofs, non connected installations, and connected individual installations). It proposes a brief overview of solar photovoltaic development in the world (more particularly Germany and Spain) and in France, and of the regulatory framework. Stakes for the development of photovoltaic electric power production in the Morbihan district are then discussed: struggle against global warming, energy supply vulnerability of the district, photovoltaic production, solar energy acceptability, examples. The second part proposes a technical assessment of the potential production of this district
