Electromagnetic formfactors of lightest nuclei
Description
A calculation of electromagnetic form factors of 2H, 3He and 4He nuclei is carried out to determine sets of parameters of model wave functions, giving the best description of the considered form factors. Translation-invariant wave functions are used in form of gaussian superposition. Gauss wave functions appear to be especially useful while considering nuclear processes within the framework of the diffraction theory of multiple scattering. Wave functions of nuclei with found parameters can be successfully used for theoretical description of different nuclear reactions. Mean-square charge radius and quadrupole moment of deutron do not accurately agree with experimental values due to the extreme simplicity of used wave functions
