Differential diagnosis of pharyngozeles

Description

Clear diagnostic differentiation between pharyngo- and larnygoceles is of therapeutic relevance. This goal can be achieved by barium examination of the pharynx applying a modified Valsalva maneuver. The radiologic appearance of pharyngoceles and their differential diagnosis will be discussed by means of two case reports. (orig.)
