Photovoltaic power and electric power companies - yesterday, today, tomorrow
Description
In order to achieve the objectives set in the action programme 'Energy 2000', great efforts will be required to improve the productivity and power balance as well as the general acceptance of photovoltaic power. The Swiss electric power companies are prepared to make their contribution to the active promotion and development of this technique. At the same time the VSE calls on the general public, industry and environmental protection groups to support the use of solar energy in conjunction with the electricity industry. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Um die im Aktionsprogramm 'Energie 2000' angestrebten Ziele erreichen zu koennen, sind grosse Anstrengungen zur Verbesserung der Wirtschaftlichkeit und der Energiebilanz sowie der Akzeptanz der Photovoltaik erforderlich. Die schweizerischen Elektrizitaetswerke sind bereit, ihren Beitrag zur aktiven Foerderung und Entwicklung dieser Technik zu leisten. Gleichzeitig ruft der VSE die Bevoelkerung, Wirtschaft und Umweltschutzverbaende auf, die Nutzung der Sonnenenergie zusammen mit der Elektrizitaetswirtschaft zu unterstuetzen.
