The optical card: the future radiologic card

Creators

  • 1. IKUSI (Spain)

Description

The increasing volume of information used and the multiplication of the communications require increasingly faster and reliable supports in the minimum space. The Optical Card is the answer to those questions. In a wallet sized card it is able to store up to 800 standard typewritten pages of information and it can be carried about anywhere in reliable and safety conditions (no erase possibility, nor influence of external agents). The possibility of incorporating a magnetic band in its reverse allows to use it in access and presence controls. Substituting profitably to paper records and attaching the possibilities of processing any kind of data (from alphanumerics to photographs, etc.), it is best solution to replace to the current radiologic Card.
