Design of a gas flow measurement device

Description
In this paper, a set of fluorine gas flow measuring device is designed according to the process demand of a nuclear military production line. The device not only improves the measurement accuracy for the gas flow rate, but also improves the utilization rate of fluorine gas. This paper first analyzes the working principle of thermal mass flowmeter, then formulates technical indicators and develop fluorine gas flowmeter according to the working principle and process requirements, and shows that all indicators meet technical requirements through testing;secondly, the optimal flow coefficient is calculated through the golden section method and C language programming, and the test data show that the pneumatic control valve meets the process requirements; finally, this device is successfully applied to the production line. Practice proves that the measurement accuracy of the fluorine gas flow is improved, and the waste of nuclear materials is reduced. (authors)
