Software design of a parallel processing system for fast CT image reconstruction based on the circular shifting float memory architecture

Description

PIRS-4 (4-processor parallel image reconstruction system) has worked well in our CT fast image reconstruction. We give the technological process and software design of PIRS-4 for fast CT image reconstruction with circular shifting float memory architecture. It includes the description of RPBP image reconstruction, the choice of OS (Operate System) and language, the principle of imitating EMS, directly memory R/W of float and programming in the protect model
