Black hole as a collider
Description
The possibility of neutrino and gamma radiation due to nuclear interactions of particles with trajectories intersecting equatorial plane of fastly rotating black hole near its horizont is discussed. Such trajectories apparently are typical of thick accretion disk near its inner boundary where motion of the particles does not deviate considerably from geodesic. Maximal energy of the products of nuclear interactions ejected to infinity is determined by Penrose processes and reached values <or approx., 1 GeV for protons collisions. In the case of accretion near the Eddington limit the noticeable part of luminosity of rotating black hole may be generated by means of nuclear interactions
