Experience of the use of highly effective internsifying barium fluorochloride screens

Description

The properties of improved intensifying screens of EhU-FKh type on the basis of barium fluorochloride activated with europeum (BaFC-Eu) used in combination with ordinary nonsensibilizing X-ray film are considered. It has been established that during examination of the G.I.T. exposures decrease 7 times as compared to those of EhU-V2 Standard screens and 3-3.5 times as compared to the best calcium-tungsten EhU-VZA and Siemens-Special screens. A decrease in the dynamic unsharpness determined by it, makes up for somewhat high granularity of radiograms
