The three different photosensitizing furocoumarin derivatives 8-methoxypsoralen, 5-methoxypsoralen and 4,5',8-trimethylpsoralen, clinically used in the photochemotherapy of various dermatoses revealed alterations of cell viability and inhibitions of mitogenic stimulation of lymphocytes in vitro.
