Precise determination of comparison base lines at the Paks nuclear power station site
Description
An exact length-determination of five comparator bases performed on the site of the Paks nuclear power station is presented. Preliminary accuracy tests were carried out regarding the instruments applied, the repetition number used in the measurements and the measuring methods. The applied statistical calibration method is discussed in detail. The measuring series was repeated under different atmospheric conditions in summer and winter. The precision numbers obtained make the reference lines suitable for the traditional calibration of the measuring tapes and for the determination of the constants in the electrooptical distance measuring devices with small and medium range, especially those in the MEKOMETER that offers the highest accuracy.
