Experimental studies of saturation vapor pressure for potassium and potassium-cesium alloys

Description

The method of heat tube is suggested to be used for measuring potassium and potassium-cesium alloy saturated vapor pressure. After analyzing the sources of measurement errors the limiting values for relative errors equal to 5% in the range of 550-650K, 3.5% in the range of 650-800K and 1.5% at higher temperatures are established. The measurement results are presented in the form of tables and diagrams. Experimental data agree satisfactorily with literature ones
