Aspects of the chemistry of technetium phosphine complexes
Description
The chemistry of technetium complexes which contain tertiary phosphine ligands is now well developed. The research leading to this situation has been conducted with the goals of both elucidating the intricate and diverse chemistry of technetium, and then also applying this chemistry to the design and development of 99mTc radiopharmaceuticals. As a result of these efforts, there are now at least two 99mTc-phosphine radiopharmaceuticals in commercial development. (orig.)
