The role of reprocessing in the world uranium market
Description
This paper examines the effect that the reprocessing of oxide fuels could have on the world uranium market over the next ten years. It identifies world reprocessing capacity and discusses the capacities likely to be available to enable re-use of the recovered uranium and plutonium. The potential savings in raw material requirements and the likely economics benefits obtained from the use of recycled material are presented
