X-ray phase analysis of alloys of Sb2Te3-CdTe system

Description
Sb2Te3-CdTe system is investigated. Tetradymite type structure with the following elementary cell parameters a=10.436, c=3045 A is characteristic for antimony telluride; monocrystals are of laminar structure, where weak van der waals bound occurs between the layers. Cadmium telluride has zinc blende type cubic modification (B3) with a=6.74 A period and hexagonal modification (a=4.57, c=7.47 A)
