Exchange of cyclopentane and deuterium on platinum and platinum--gold alloy films
Description
The exchange reaction of cyclopentane and deuterium on Pt and Pt--Au alloys was studied, and information on reactions of C--H bonds and reaction mechanisms was provided. Product distribution data for the Pt and Pt--Au catalysts at various temperatures was tabulated. It was concluded by comparing the alloy and Pt films at the same conditions that the activity decreases on alloys by up to one tenth of that of pure Pt films
