Dosimetry of mixed γ/neutron-radiation with the use of two chemical systems

Description
Two dosimetric chemical systems, based on tetrachloride carbon, are submitted to be used for determining separately the dose components of γ/neutron radiation emitted by a nuclear reactor. The values of specific kerma of monoenergetic neutrons of different energy in dosimetric solutions are determined. The developed dosimeters were used to assess median absorbed doses of γ-rays and neutrons in phantoms of mice and rats under different irradiation conditions
