Description

Timing detection might upgrade quality of experimental data using synchrotron radiation. For timing detection, microchannel plate (MCP) detectors were recommended and their outlines and working principles were introduced. Pulse counting and position sensitive detection using MCP detectors were briefly explained with their application examples. The product of MCP detectors shall be purchased from measuring particle and shape choice and notes before use were commented. Timing detection using MCP detectors at synchrotron experiments was specifically described with measurement examples of photoelectron angular distribution in the molecular coordinate system with coincidence detection methods.
