Description

OLM can make critical contributions to LTO and is easily implemented in the existing fleet of nuclear power plants. All that is needed is to identify and extract data that typically exist in the plant computer. New plants can and should incorporate OLM into plant I&C design. Assuming that a fast A/D capability is available and that wireless technology is installed that is not detrimental to plant operation, such equipment can be used for equipment condition monitoring at nuclear power plants
