Cusps in proton-induced reactions on intermediate-mass nuclei

Evidence for cusps is presented for the cross sections of inelastic proton scattering from 48Ti, 52Cr, and 56Fe as well as for the 48Ti(p,n)48V reaction. Detailed statistical model calculations are compared with the experimental absolute cross sections
