Systematics of baryon masses and deformed oscillator quark model
Creators
Description
We study all existing data of flavor SU(3) baryons systematically in the scheme of the deformed oscillator quark (DOQ) model. We find that there is a very simple, flavor independent systematics in the mass spectrum, which can be described as rotational bands of deformed excited states in the DOQ model with only one parameter
