Description

Metal complexing agents such as HDTA undergo thermal reaction with other components of simulated waste mixtures to produce both gaseous (H2, N2, N2O, and NH3) and nonvolatile degradation products, which are also produced in certain Hanford waste storage tanks. Progress toward the development of a detailed mechanistic understanding of these thermal processes is summarized
