Preliminary data on the fluorescence spectrum of ScCl

Description
Fluorescence spectra of ScCl excited by argon-ion lines have been recorded. In the spectrum transitions from selectively populated levels of I1Π state on the states X1Σ, a3Δ1, b3Π0, b3Π2 have been identified. The detected intercombinational transitions permitted ascertaining the energies of low-lying triplet states. 6 refs., 3 tabs
