Description
Results are presented of the energy independent joined multipole analysis of the photophroduction process γp → π+n, π0p in the photon energy range of 300 to 420 MeV. The analysis is carried out basing on the S-group observables making no use of the πN-scattering phase shifts. The continuous ambiguity of the solutions is removed by the method which does not need one of the amplitudes to be fixed. New estimates of the real parts of the s- and p-wave amplaiitudes are obtned. Their imaginary parts are actually estimated for the first time. The results are compared with theoretical predictions
