Orientation molecular transitions and high temperature superconductivity
Description
An attempt to construct a model explaining the properties observed in an experiment and general for all HTS-ceramics synthesized at present is made. A reversible transport of molecular oxygen; metallic rate of temperature dependence of resistance with p-type carrier; antiferromagnetism of a phase depleted of oxygen; weak development of the isotopic effect; high value of critical temperature Tc - all these relate to such general properties. The main idea of this paper constitutes the fact that molecular oxygen dissolved in HTS-ceramics exists advantageously as a molecular diamagnetic peroxide-ion O22-, whose dynamic interaction with a crystal lattice, current carriers and other peroxide-ions O22- leads to the appearance of high-temperature superconductivity
