Usage of analytical models for constructing spatial structure of 20-year geomagnetic field variations

Description
Maps of the spatial distribution of 20-year variations are plotted on the basis of analytical models. It is shown that the main morphological peculiarities of these variations exist at low latitudes and have the form of several extreme regions, fluctuating in different phases. The conclusion is made that 60-, 30- and 20-year variations are generated by a common source and they describe the major part of the secular variation of this century
