Specific heats of superconducting splat-cooled ''amorphous'' La/sub 1-x/Au/sub x/ alloys
Description
Specific-heat measurements from 1.3 to 6.2 K provide new information about superconductivity in an ''amorphous'' transition-metal system, La/sub 1-x/Au/sub x/. These measurements indicate some qualitative differences between ''amorphous'' transition metals and simple amorphous metals such as Bi, Ga, Pb, and Sn
