Thermoactivated interaction of zirconium dioxide with silicon dioxide
Description
Additional study of zircon formation reaction has been carried out. Using as an example solid phase interaction of zirconium dioxide with silicon dioxide it has been shown that in the region of polymophous transformation of one of the reagents (ZrO2-1150-1200 deg C) the reaction constant rate increases considerably and the process activation energy increases anomalously, and the process does not obey the equations of formal kinetics
