Primary radiation damages created by irradiation in reactors with different neutron spectra

Description
On the basis of empirical dependences of displacement cascade parameters on initial energy the energies of primary damage formation in austenitic steels irradiated in IVV-2M and BN-600 reactors with various neutron spectra are determined. A satisfactory agreement between calculation results and experimental data is obtained under the assumption that neutron elastic scattering is predominant. The results obtained can be useful for forecasting radiation damage in reactor core structural materials
Abstract (Russian)
На основании эмпирических зависимостей параметров каскадов смещений от начальной энергии определены энергии образования первичных повреждений в аустенитных сталях, облученных в реакторах ИВВ-2М и БН-600 с различными нейтронными спектрами. Удовлетворительное согласие с экспериментом получено в предположении о доминировании упругого рассеяния нейтронов. Полученные результаты могут быть использованы для прогнозирования радиационной повреждаемости конструкционных материалов активной зоны ядерных реакторовAdditional details
