General equation of state for a real fluid
Description
The present investigation is undertaken with a view to present the thermodynamical information along with basic concept in concise mathematical form, in relation to equation of state for a model fluid. In the present paper, the author deals with related theories of liquid state where brief account of Born-Green theory, Percus-Yevic theory, mean spherical approximation, hypernetted chain approximation and perturbation theory is presented with relevant comments highlighting their utility and limitations. The author formulated an equation of state for fluid of m-component in n-dimension. This general formalism with broader base quite satisfactorily explains the earlier work of its kind. Lastly, the author makes a departure from earlier concepts of proposed model and introduces mean radius of curvature as a structural variable and thus the final equation of state for real fluid in more flexible form, along with different types of additive rule for energy, coupled with geometric parameter, is obtained.
