On the quasi-elastic electron scattering from nuclei

Description
The model of coherent nucleon density fluctuations is applied to the quasi-elastic electron scattering from nuclei. The influence of nucleon-nucleon correlations (which are effectively taken into account in the model) on the quasi-elastic electron cross sections and the response functions are studied. Calculations of the different cross sections of the reaction (e,e') in the case of various nuclei, at different energies and angles, as well as of the longitudinal and transverse response functions are carried out. The results of the calculations are compared with the experimental data and other approaches
