Coulomb multiple-scattering analysis in the presence of nuclear effects
- 1. Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare, Pavia (Italy)
- 2. Pavia Univ. (Italy). Ist. di Fisica Nucleare
Description
The multiple-scattering theory of Cormack, which takes into account both the screened Coulomb field and nuclear effects, is discussed and applied to the analysis of elastic scattering at small angles of polarized protons by spin-zero nuclei. Finite beam cross-section is taken into account. (author)
