Al, Co, Si, Nb substitution in Dy2Fe17C and Dy2Fe17CNx compounds
- 1. Magnetism Lab., Inst. of Physics, Academia Sinica, Beijing (China)
Description
A study on the structure and magnetic properties of the Dy2Fe15T2C and Dy2Fe15T2CNx compounds with T=Al, Co, Nb, Si, Fe is reported. The substitution of the different elements for iron resulted in the different influence on the structure and magnetic properties of the Dy2Fe17C and Dy2Fe17Cnx compounds. In the Dy2Fe17C compound, the substitution of Al, Nb decreases the Curie temperature and magnetization, whereas the substitution of Co increases the Curie temperature and magnetization. The substitution of Si increases the Curie temperature and decreases the magnetization. (orig.)
