Description
Results of the simulation of electromagnetic shower formation in single crystals for particle energies up to 300 GeV are presented. The calculations are based on the shower Monte Carlo EGS4 for amorphous materials modified to account for coherence effects which arise in a crystal. In addition the increase of energy loss of channeled electrons due to radiation cooling is included. (orig.)
