On the theory of convective transport of a magnetic field in a plasma diode

Description

Theoretic analysis and numeric simulation of the process of magnetic field (or current) penetration to the plasma of Z-pinch or plasma-filled diode, if its parameter correspond to the conditions of electron magnetic hydrodynamics applicability are performed. Despite the well-known non-triviality of field transfer processes in the regime of electron magnetic hydrodynamics, they still can be simulated in many cases by means of a modified diffusion coefficient of a magnetic field. Options of such a modification are discussed. 21 refs.; 3 figs
