Investigation of demagnetization processes in Fe14Nd2B-type sintered magnets

  • 1. Max-Planck-Institut fuer Metallforschung, Stuttgart (Germany, F.R.). Inst. fuer Physik

Description

In sintered magnets the magnetic behaviour of the individual grains is characterized by critical fields required for magnetic saturation and for the reversal of the magnetization. It is shown that the demagnetization curves of sintered magnets depend sensitively on the distribution functions of these critical fields and the maximum magnetic field applied for magnetic saturation.
