Theoretical aspects of reincorporation of recoil fragments in neutron irradiated barium permanganate (Paper No. RE-12)
Description
Recoil behaviour of 56Mn produced by 55Mn (n,γ)56Mn reaction has been investigated in solid Ba(MnO4)2 and an attempt is made to scrutinize the experimental retention data in term of relevant physical and chemical processes leading to retention. Contribution of these processes are discussed in the light of following models: (a) Back-diffusion model (b) Billiard-ball model, and (c) Hot-zone model. (author). 8 refs
