Suppression of the electron thermal conductivity by ion acoustic turbulence

Description

Self-consistent problem of quasilinear interaction of electrons and ion acoustic turbulence excited in plasma of high temperature gradient has been solved. It is shown that this process results in limitation of thermal flow which with increasing temperature gradient reaches some limiting value. Dependence of limiting thermal flow and ion acoustic turbulence level on plasma parameters has been found
