Infrared spectra of reaction products of Sc atoms with Cl2 molecules in argon matrices
Description
Infrared spectra of reaction products of Sc atoms with Cl2 molecules in the argon matrix are investigated. Annealing and UV-photolysis of matrices are used for band reference. As a result of the reaction, ScCl3 and ScCl2 molecules are shown to be formed and the frequences of valence vibrations are determined
