On the significance of induction effects in nonlinear theory of beam-plasma interaction
Description
As is shown, the influence of induction effects on the development of beam-plasma instability is the coupling coefficient between the beam and plasma is small. In such a case, there arise a seft-congruent, longitudinally homogeneous electric field, which accelerates the beam electrons. The induction effects lead to the prolongation of linear stage of instability development and some increase in the maximum amplitude of the field of plasma oscillations. 7 refs
