Burn characteristics of marginal deuterium-tritium microspheres
Description
Long mean free paths for ions in the tail of the distribution may allow escape, quenching the burn of marginal (ρ R<10⁻² g/cm²) deuterium-tritium microspheres, possibly explaining the lack of success in experiments to date.
