Coordinating capacity of mononitrotetrabenzoporphin in the reactions with metal salts

Description
Formation kinetics of the Cu-, Cd-, Zn- complexes with mononitrotetrabenzoporphin (Hsub(2)TBP- Osub(2)) in pyridine in the temperature range of 50-70 deg C has been studied for the first time. Energies and activation entropies of complexing reactions have been calculated.It It has been established that introduction of even one nitrogroup into benzene nucleus results in the increase of coordination rate constants as compared to unreplaced Hsub(2)TBP
