Study on 238U extraordinary neutron resonances

Description

Measurement of neutron scattering and investigation of γ cascades for 238U resonances have been carried out aiming to study the nature of the 238U neutron resonances with anomalously large fission width. The data obtained suggest that the 721.58 eV resonance is extraordinary and hardly corresponds to the state of the second well of double-humped fission barrier
