Impact of a surface acoustic wave on the synchrotron X-ray scattering from LiNbO3 crystal is theoretically investigated. The influence of X-ray beam divergence and amplitude of an ultrasonic wave modulation on angular distribution of the scattered intensity in the reciprocal space is shown
