Is the b quark a member of a color sextet

Description
A color-sextet assignment for the b quark increases the strength of the linear confining potential by a factor (5/2)/sup 1/2/ over the triplet assignment. This accounts for the observed UPSILON'-UPSILON mass splitting and the UPSILON leptonic decay rate. The least massive (m approx. 5 GeV) fermion and the least massive boson containing one b quark are then potentially absolutely stable hadrons. Color-sextet quarks are suggested by extended supergravity
