Coherent pickup and knockout contributions to the /sup 144/Nd(p,α)/sup 141/Pr reaction

Description
The angular distributions of α particles for transitions to low lying states of /sup 141/Pr in the /sup 144/Nd(p,α)/sup 141/Pr reaction have been analyzed by assuming a coherent contribution from pickup and knockout. The importance of the knockout contribution is found to decrease substantially going from 25 to 35 MeV incident proton energy
