Description
The ATMEA1 reactor is a new concept for next generation 1000 MWe pressurized water reactors. A first report summarizes the review carried out by IRSN regarding the safety options of the reactor (reminder of the context and planning of the technical meetings, significant points highlighted during appraisal and the related risks). This report is supplemented by the expertises made by the French nuclear safety authority (ASN) and by the permanent group of experts for nuclear reactors and for nuclear pressure equipment
