Measurement of Mw using the transverse mass ratio of W and Z

Description

We report on the measurement of W boson mass from a direct determination of the ratio of the transverse masses of W and Z using the D null detector at the Fermilab Tevatron p anti p collider operating at √s = 1.8 TeV. The analysis is a preliminary result based on a partial data sample of 13 pb-1 using W → eν and Z → ee decays
